Coding Course: Javascript Programming

An intensive course: Javascript Programming.

Suitable for 13-16 year olds and tailored for small groups with up to 6 friends, the dates and times can be based on your schedule and our qualified Software Engineer will come to you!

Learn by Doing –

• Analyse the requirements for Javascript.
• Design, develop, test and evaluate a program.

Task 1:

1. login with a username and password

2. access a menu system

3. enter and store the students’ detail

4. log out

5. retrieve and display the details of any student when the user enters the student’s unique ID number.

6. create at least three different reports that the user might need, and describe how he would use each one.

7. produce these reports when selected from a menu. 

Task 2:

1. enables a customer to set up an account that requires a username and secure password to access it.

2. stores the account information and the last ten films that the customer has viewed.

3. recommends five films based on the ‘genre’ of previous viewings.

4. allows a customer to choose additional viewing preferences other than ‘genre’.

5. enables a customer to ‘like’ a film.

6. uses all of the data gathered to make recommendations for future viewing. 

Completing this project will equip the student with sufficient knowledge and the tools to design and complete a project on their own.
