The Elijah Centre is a specialist , pioneer-UK intervention centre providing therapy lead sessions in : – Executive functioning – Building learning skills – how to transfer concepts and ideas to paper – Organisation skills -Metacognition : Reflecting on our own thoughts is how we gain insight into our feelings, needs, and behaviors — and how we learn, manage, and adapt to new experiences, challenges. More and more studies are suggesting that kids who are taught to use metacognitive strategies early on are more resilient and more successful, both in and out of school.

Class Information:

Every Monday Dr Elijah will be hosting a short seminar offering information and support for parents.  For September, the seminars include:

  • Transition Back to School
    This seminar will focus on arrival and leaving routines, as well as understanding and preparing children for the new “normal”. Techniques to reduce anxiety for both parents and children 
  • ADHD and Executive Function: Impact on Learning, Motivation and Behaviour
    What drives your children’s challenging behavior ? Impact at home, school and social situations 
  • Strategies for Home
    Techniques to implement at home to help with challenging behaviors
  • Improving Communication
