I worked in private and state schools in Germany, taught German as a foreign language to students from Syria, I had more than 200 private students over the past 10 years, and worked for the NHS and VSA in mental health, special needs and learning disabilities.

What would make me a valuable member of the team is my broad experience in different learning settings, my eagerness to improve my learner-centred approach and my understanding of how language is acquired in the most effective and rewarding way.

Class Information:

Review the most challenging aspects of German, which can include production of longer texts, vocabulary in general and syntax. Introduced comprehension and communication strategies (effective ways to structure a text by using cognates, identifying word types (nouns) and knowing where the verb is positioned. Introduce story- and picture-based building of vocabulary.
