INDIVIDUALISED CURRICULUM SUPPORT
Our focus is to support children’s academic needs as well as their social, emotional, and personal development. In these difficult times of social isolation, we are working with top Neuro and Educational Psychologists to provide avenues of support to ensure our community stays mentally healthy and for children to progress academically.
HOW WE WORK
The Maze Academy supports all types of learners with carefully planned visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning programs tailored to each child’s specific needs and goals. A qualified teacher will baseline assess each child’s academic ability to determine what level they are working at then creates and implements a bespoke program. Specialist teachers deliver the core subjects, English, Maths and Science based on the child’s level and ability. However, other subjects can be included in the schedule. We incorporate strategies from children’s EHCP’S and / or Educational Psychologist Reports, where appropriate, to progress their learning so they achieve specific academic targets. ABOUT ELIJAH SOCIAL COGNITIVE SKILLS CENTRE
Dr. Elijah has developed a program called PROSICG ©, an intervention program dealing with social perception, self-regulation and social problem-solving. The program is unique because it creates new strategies for ‘social problem solving’ situations, such as those that are likely to arise in educational, home and community settings.
